Learning to Support LGBTQ+ Youth in Substitute Care

The Center is excited to offer a series of child welfare training! “Learning to Support LGBTQ+ Youth in Substitute Care,” is a 4-hour self-paced, on-demand course that highlights the emerging issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression within the lives of young people living in out-of-home care.

This course consists of four modules that will help those working with youth to support  their health and well-being. Integrated into the learning material are the voices of foster parents, foster youth, and advocates sharing their lived experiences. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate.
